Pacific Capsules - Kaita
Formula developed by Laboratorios Kaita it helps you relax with actions on the central nervous system. It is developed on the basis of Valerian(Valeriana officinalis L.), lettuce leaves, orange leaves, soursop leaves and chamomile.
Valerian is a perennial herb native to North America, Asia and Europe, whose root has a long tradition of use in traditional medicine to treat mental health problems. Its components are Valeric acid, valepotriates, alkaloids, amino acids and lignans. It has been shown that the components interact with neurotransmitters such as serotonin and GABA.
Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.): lettuce is a short stem vegetable. Its leaves are edible and it is consumed widely in our environment. Besides its nutritional value lettuce has been shown to contain active substances such as Lactucina, which have been proved to have anti-inflammatory and sedative properties.
Orange leaves (Citrus aurantium): orange leaves were traditionally used as an infusion for nervous disorders, especially as a sedative to facilitate sleep and to restart in case of fainting. Orange leaves are rich in Hesperidina, a substance that has been shown to have a relaxing activity of the central nervous system.
Soursop Leaves (Annona muricata): soursop leaves have been documented as an anti-depressant, sedative and tranquilizer, which may be due to certain alkaloids that have the agonist properties of the serotonergic 5-HT1A receptors within the hippocampus. Experimental studies in rats showed that Soursop prevents the depletion of dopamine and norepinephrine and thus may help the body to better combat stress.
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla): The Camomile is one of the most popular herbal teas consumed by our population in the form of snacks and with medicinal purposes. Its flowers are a rich source of active substances such as terpenoids alpha-bisabolol and its oxides and azulenes, flavonoids and phenolic compounds. Chamimile has been used traditionally for its mild sedative and anxiolytic properties, as well as antioxidants, antimicrobials and antiplatelet agents.
